Databases are not searchable using traditional search engines. Search engines use a web crawler or bot to scan web pages and documents that have been published on the web. When you initiate a search, the search engine uses algorithms to sort through billions of pages of content and present a series of links that represent their best guess to what you were searching for. Search engines do not have the ability to scan information in databases.
